36  Respond to, and Close, GitHub Issues

  1. Do the readings for the “Write GitHub Issues” task if you haven’t yet.

  2. Address the issues currently on your GitHub and close them. Be sure you put a comment or explanation as a reply to original issue that was left to explain how you addressed it.

    Most suggestions should be implemented. However, if you feel the feedback is off base or would actually make your chart worse, you should explain that in a comment on the issue page and then close the issue without making the change. You may take a similar course of action if the suggestion would require you to do something completely out of scope of the material we have learned so far.

    Be sure to address issues left by the instructor or TA as well and resubmit them so that you can get more complete assignments.

In I-learn, submit a link to your GitHub Issues page showing that all issues are closed.
