There are two books that you can read for extra credit. For each, I expect a maximum 750 word paper that discusses the book at how it relates to our course and your major. In the first paragraph state how many pages you read, which chapter was your favorite, and your favorite quote from the book. Each report can earn you up to 10 percentage points extra on a test.
These periodic readings are shorter in length and worth up to 1 percentage point on a test. I expect an article report of no more than 375 words. Write the paper to convince me that you read the article, that you understand its main point, and how it relates to a topic in our class.
